Angler’s Nest

Anglers Nest was a graphic design challenge to make a logo package for a fictional company. However, there’s a twist. The logo must incorporate these random attributes:

Color: Pale Green
Business: Bait & Tackle Shop
Animal: Pterodactyl
Personality: Rebel/Sage

I found that the premise of a bait & tackle shop was perfect for me because my grandfather (who we call Pawpaw Pan) has been a shrimper for most of his life and sold the shrimp he’d catch along the Mississippi Gulf Coast for bait and food. Armed with this family history, I designed Angler’s Nest, a rough-around-the-edges logo set to attract fishers who drink their coffee black and don’t mind the salty sea spray.
